Pride & Prejudice Wedding {Inspired Shoot}

Of all the movies I’ve ever watched, Pride & Prejudice is probably the one I’ve seen the most. There’s something about the characters in the romance of Regency England that I really connect with. I’ve been told I was born in the wrong era and if I could choose an era to be born into, I don’t think I would mind Regency England one bit! I’ve always wanted to bring to life a wedding styled after Pride & Prejudice, and when the wedding blog, Le Magnifique held a “book or movie theme” contest I knew it was the perfect time to go for it. And I can’t think of a more classic love story than the one between Lizzy & Darcy.

Finding the venue for the shoot to take place at was probably the most challenging part of planning. Unfortunately, there just aren’t too many English manors in Northern California area. Thankfully the wonderful folks at Park Winters opened up their stunning venue to us! We felt like we were transported straight to England the moment we set foot in the gardens. One of my favorite parts about putting together this shoot was hearing from the other vendors how much they also love Pride & Prejudice. I can’t believe how well everything came together, but that’s all thanks to the fabulous vendors who put so much time into this shoot. I hope you love the photos, most ardently!
