Richie & April {Grand Island Mansion Wedding}

Richie & April’s wedding day began with a few rain drops.  They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and I truly think they they got some because right when the rain needed to stop, it did and from there on out it was such a beautiful day!  I have been so excited to photograph Richie & April’s day at the Grand Island Mansion.  I’ve always admired this venue.  My uncle was married here when I was 8 or 9 years old and along with that came memories of a magical fairy-tale wedding.  I am happy to say that returning there all those years later the mansion still evokes the feeling of fairy tales & happily ever after.   I can’t think of a better setting for Richie & April’s wonderful day to unfold.  These two people are something special.  They are highschool sweethearts and their love story is the stuff people dream of.  Not to mention, they are beautiful people inside & out.  It felt like I was photographing the wedding of old friends, that is how welcoming they make you feel.
