We started off the morning by attending a lovely church service at Calvary Galway which was conveniently located down the street from our BnB at the Galway Bay Hotel! After that we said farewell to Galway and our next destination was the ever famous, Cliffs of Moher! And then we loaded up in our trusty car!

After a pleasant afternoon drive we arrived at the cliffs! They were breath-taking.
Thanks to the wind, it was also FREEZING. I seriously wished I was wearing my winter snow clothes and earmuffs. My ears were so cold! I didn’t take as many photos here because A- it’s hard to take pictures when your hands are blocks of ice and B. Jess and I get unusually cranky when we are frozen 😉 haha. After a quick stop in the gift shop we continued on our journey to Ennis. We stayed at the Newpark House while in Ennis. The moment we started driving down the drive way to it, I was in love. It was actually one of the first places I had bookmarked as a possible place to stay while we were on the trip, and I’m so glad we did stay there! I’ll let the pictures do the talking…
We spent the rest of the evening in Ennis. Even though the streets were a bit confusing (narrow and so many turns!) we really liked the feel of the town. It felt less touristy than Galway, and the live music was fantastic.
